Question #1

When meeting a guy at a public place, and you go back to whose ever house to hookup, how do you know who will bottom or top?

Like on sites, it has peoples preferences and not all gay guys like to bottom so how do you know which role will you play. Im not sure what I would do. Never done either so Im not sure what I would do in that situation if I was in it and thats why I would like some feedback from more experienced people.

  2. You just have to talk to the guy and see what he likes to do. its always good going into a situation knowing what your looking for and what you like or want to try. Theres no guidelines or rules going in, its all just options. Dont put so much stress on any situation. Oh and theres more to being a bottom than just receiving anal.

  3. I never really got the whole declaring what role you're going to play during sex. I'm not really into anal myself. You guys can figure it out on your own, just kinda let it happen. You don't have to do anything you aren't comfortable with. I think half the fun is exploring each other and finding what each other likes and finding something that you both really enjoy. Like Chris Pack said there are no rules it is just something you have to figure out on your own.

  4. Just talk about it with him and see. You'll find the straightforwardness with which most guys will talk about soon-to-happen sex refreshing compared to how a lot of girls go about it. Less games involved as long as you bring openness and candor to the table.

  5. Socrkid: Flip flop until you find a position you prefer. The more versatile you are, the more guys will be available.

  6. most people are actually rudely explicit about it. like, manhunt guys will ask "are you a top or bottom?" and if you give them an answer they don't prefer they will throw acid in your face and sign off.

  7. Never tried anal with my first bf. Only with my current bf once we knew each other sexually did we experiment. Yes it was sore at first and neither of us knew how our roles would pan out. Now he is more of a bottom and me more top. It is no longer sore and sometimes I can see why being a bottom is attractive.. you're getting attention from both sides.. so don't panic; if you have a random hookup, most guys are perfectly happy with a handjob or a bj.

  8. firstly, I love the asking questions idea haha. maybe it's me, but I don't want to know if someone's a top or bottom. If I read like "21/m/bottom" on a profile I'll probably move on, cuz to me sounds like they're thinking with their dick instead of their heart.

the last hookup I had with you-know-who, we never even thought about anal, but we must have spent hours doing different crazy shit that I loved. BUT... the best part was falling asleep holding someone, feeling totally at peace and pretending nothing else existed - then having them still there when I woke up. I felt comfortable enough with them that you just did whatever felt good, without over-thinking it.

After having that it kinda changed my perspective, I realize why the hookups before that felt empty. Also important is to stay safe, I've only done oral, but I got an HIV test today just to feel better... it was negative of course haha. I'd love to explore sex stuff naturally, as I get to know someone. For the right guy I'd be pretty damn open to trying different things, to see what works for both of us.

  9. I second TB's second paragraph, and as other people have said, there's a lot more to hooking/sex/being intimate than anal, and it always doesn't end in anal. That being said, in my expereiences it's all about communication while you're going at it, verbal or nonverbal or both, and if one person starts doing something the other person doesn't like or is uncomfortable, they've spoken up. Of course if they've liked it they've spoken up too. The most important thing is not being pressured into something you don't want to do, especially early on.
