Awesome movie, gave me some shivers down my spine and almost cried. Yeah I'm helpless with those feel good things haha.
But if I'm honest, there isn't so much difference between the guys life and mine. The big difference is in my head I think, I worry too much about how I come through to people, maybe I'm the last one to accept myself?

You are right Kevin. That's a huge issue. Gay people don't always believe they can do what they set out to do. It's often not heterosexuals who are oppressing gay people, but gay people who strike themselves out of the picture, believing that they either do not deserve such things, or that they do not belong in common institutions such as marriage. Sure -- gay men can see themselves as single hairdressers going to a bar with their latest trick, but how many can see themselves as husbands and fathers? This is frustrating because there really is nothing to stop us from making this step.
hey, Please take a look at 306, a gay short film, written, directed & produced by Elliot London. Please would you share it on your blog. Warning: adult minded. http://vimeo.com/32775696
Future? This can happen now--just depends on the people you have around you. You need to understand that while this may not currently reflect your situation there are many many people who are not knuckleheads.
Love this! :-)

ReplyDeleteI wonder if he's masculine so that you don't know he's gay until the end, or because people are afraid of non-masculine gay men. Still good, though.
